Product Review – SolaMetixs Anti-Aging and Regenerating Cream

Palm Beach Pure is a new company to me that specializes in anti-aging products. One of the products I tried is the SolaMetixs Anti-Aging and Regenerating Cream.

Pros:
  • Beautiful packaging. It has a cool feature wherein the top rotates to open and the pump comes up. Then it rotates back down to close. See pictured examples below.
  • Smells minty which does not linger.
  • Has a menthol, cooling effect when you put it on.
  • Lightweight.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Skin does feel softer after use.

Cons:
  • Price was $89 but is now $68 which may not be affordable for some.
  • Had a sticky feel to it after applied which interfered with makeup when used in morning. Used at night and it took some time for stickiness to go away.
  • It left my t-zone feeling oily after a few hours. Why can’t I get hydration without oiliness?! I don’t even have oily skin.
  • It claims to be made with exotic ingredients and latest in advanced hydration technology. In going over ingredients (listed below), I don’t see a lot of natural “exotic” ingredients that I expected to find. However, I do see a lot of things I can’t pronounce which I assume is the technology part of their formula.
Ingredients:  Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triclyceride, Grapeseed Oil, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium, Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Acetyl Octapeptide, Isododecane, Cetyl Esters Wax, Phenyl Trimethicone, C20-22 Alkyl Phosphate, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Emulsifying Wax, Atelocollagen, Cholic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Witch Hazel, C20-22 Alcohols, Bisabolol, Squalane, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 60, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Peppermint Oil, Disodium EDTA, Hexylene Glycol, Methylisothiazolinone
Overall, I wasn’t blown away by this product after using for a few weeks. But…I don’t hate it either. It’s a great product as far as hydration and softening my fine lines. I probably wouldn’t purchase though as I have other products I use that I like better.
