I finally received a makeup box from Influenster!! It is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Voxbox sent to me from Influenster and Lancome complimentary for review purposes.
It had the following products:
🌹Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Makeup Stick (215 Buff – N) – This is considered a foundation stick. I’ve never actually used a foundation stick. It reminds me of concealer. Coverage is full and it goes on very opaque. Hard to blend as it was so thick. I do feel that I would use a lot more product with a stick than with a liquid foundation. So for me this would not be a cost effective option at $42. I can see this stick being a good option for days I don’t want to wear a full face of foundation where I would use it more in trouble spots where I may have discoloration or blemishes. I will probably also use it under my normal foundation if I have a bad breakout. This is not something I would repurchase.
🌹Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Concealer – I received 2 different shades – 215 Buff (N) / 220 Buff (C). The 220 Buff (C) was way too dark for me. I actually love this concealer. A little goes a long way. It blends easily and covers really well. I was worried it would wear off as a result but I was pleasantly surprised it lasted throughout the day. The only bad thing is my eyes water a lot (I’m allergic to Spring) so it did wear off under eyes by lunchtime. But I have this problem with any makeup this time of year. It did not dry out my skin or feel drying which some concealers do. Sells for $31. Definitely will repurchase.
🌹Lancome Click & Go Highlighting Skin Fluid (Lumières D’Or – warm gold) – This was my favorite product out of all of them. It is a neat little wand with a cushion on one end. You click the bottom until product comes out the cushion on the top. Click slow because the product comes out easily. You use the cushion to blend the product into any area you want to highlight. I started with cheek bones and then added a little to my cupid’s bow. It’s a beautiful, natural looking highlight for a touch of glow. I feel the $23.00 price tag is reasonable provided you can get a lot of usage which remains to be seen.
🌹Lancome Metallic Effect Lip Lacquer (09 Mirrored Nude) – I am a huge fan of metallic lippies. I think they look amazing alone or as a lip topper with your favorite lipstick. The possibilities are endless. This color is beautiful although a little lighter than I would normally wear. Feels great – very velvety. Long lasting although I had to reapply after eating which is typical for most lippies. I love the smell – maybe vanilla? Made with Vitamin E and grapeseed oil so it is very moisturizing. None of those nasty parabens or sulfates or that other thing I can never pronounce – phthalates. It is a bit pricey at $22 but I am eager to try other colors.
